The Safer Cans campaign is driven by an urgent need: to stop the canning industry from using the toxic chemical bisphenol A (BPA) to line cans that hold fruits and vegetables, soda and beer, and even infant formula. Hundreds of studies have found BPA to be linked to diseases including breast and prostate cancer, heart disease, diabetes, and neurological problems, lowered sperm counts and early puberty.
We want to keep canned food and beverages safe and healthy. Please join our campaign to encourage the canning industry to invest in safer alternatives to protect the food supply and to stop using BPA.
